There are a lot of corrupt politicians at all levels of government. The best way to combat this is to recruit honest, good, hard working, Christ-loving, God fearing Americans to run for political office. However, few good people are willing to put their hat in the ring. They don't want their names slandered, their kids made into public figures, or have their entire life scrutinized for every mistake they may have made.

However, there is another fear that is quickly becoming the most common reason why people don't want to run for office: the false accusation and unjust reprisals from the FBI and DOJ.

At face value, the FBI raid on former President Donald Trump's Mar-A-Lago resort looks like another politically motivated attack by progressive activists from within the DOJ and FBI. Of course, we certainly hope this is not what's happening, but it looks really bad when an Administration of one party uses the Justice Department and FBI to raid a political rival of another party, especially after his time in office has ended.

Even more alarming is the double standard. Supposedly, the FBI raided because they suspected Donald Trump's team was keeping classified documents in the Mar-A-Lago resort. If this is true, Hillary Clinton deserved to be raided for her poor handling of classified data on a private server that had been hacked by the Russian Federation. Instead, James Comey recommended publicly that no charges should be brought against her... presumably because rules shouldn't apply to Clintons.

Whatever crime President Trump is accused of committing to justify this action absolutely must be of dire seriousness and must absolutely be addressed immediately for the good of our Republic.
