Although Richard Stallman may have said some particularly tactless things in the past, but it in no way is indicative of his ability to contribute to the Free Software Foundation.

Richard Stallman is not a white supremacist or racist. He's not a rapist. Richard Stallman isn't a Nazi, Stalinist, or an apologist for similar mass murderers. Richard Stallman's crime is that he's rude, crass, insensitive, and foul mouthed. While that may not make him a role model for young children, it has no bearing on his ability to pull from his decades of experience to advise the Free Software Foundation on their mission to promote the freedom of users to modify and share computer software, defend individual privacy, and respect everyone's freedom.

The KTracy.com team is thrilled that the Free Software Foundation stood their ground in the face of the angry mob and kept Richard Stallman on their board after the backlash. History has given us too many examples of what happens when mobs are allowed to run amuck. What this history has shown us consistently is that mob justice is not justice.
