Blah! College Finals
Well, tomorrow is Thursday and while that doesn't mean very much to my readers, it's very significant for me. I'm a full time college student going to school using the GI Bill (best investment I ever made). The problem with going to school, however, is that every semester ends with Final Exams. Well, next week is Finals week and the last day of these Finals is on Thursday next week. So tomorrow officially marks the start of my week long disappearance as I hit the books and study my butt off. It's not fun, but it's only twice a year.
Truth be told, I could actually skip all of my final exams this semester and still pass all five courses, but I enjoy gloating about a 4.0 GPA far too much to settle for merely passing the courses. Plus, when I missed a bunch of classes due to my grandmother's illness and death, I was on the verge of letting things slide this semester. Instead, I decided to dedicate my grades this semester to her. I didn't realize it at the time, but that kind of builds on the pressure not to screw this up.
Anyway, as is the case every Finals week, because I won't have the time to write on the blog, I'll be posting papers I've written instead. Unfortunately for you, five of those are mostly going to be about art history. The other two will be on the topic of religion. The first on the Covenants of Judaism and the other on "negative interactions" between Muslims and the Christians and Jews.
Hopefully, Travis will be able to keep up the pace and keep things interesting for you all while I'm gone and posting posting pictures of three-faced Jesuses.
