The MSPaint Comic

The MSPaint Comic began in 2005 as a webcomic attached to Kevin Tracy's blog as a fictional, behind the scenes look at KTracy.com. The weekly webcomic quickly evolved into an elaborate story, but Kevin had regrets about the comic's beginning.

In 2007, Kevin ceased production of the webcomic and began writing his story again from scratch. It took almost three years to write his epic; but when it was done, Kevin knew it was going to be his masterpiece.

The MSPaint Comic is a planned five-volume abstract graphic novel about the adjustment from military life to the civilian world, including the challenges, successes, failures, and the value of the life long friendships made on the way. Disguised with humor, the comic is rich with hidden meaning, history, and psychology.

The MSPaint Comic Volume 1: Institution is near-completion and will have taken nearly four years to create when it hits the shelves across the country. The name Institution was intentionally chosen for this first book for its dual meanings, representing the contents of the book. This is both the institution of an epic graphic novel series and some may think the author will belong in an instution after reading it.

Work will then immediately begin on Volume 2 as well as a 3D comic side-story, tentatively titled The MSPaint Comic: The Battle of Whiskey Sky.
