Andy Bozak Wins Town Council Race!

Bozak told the Tribune that the election race showed that “everyone is very optimistic about the future of Burns Harbor” and the citizens want to be involved in planning for the development ahead.

Hull said he gives kudos to Bozak for putting forth such effort in his campaign. “He worked his tail off and it shows,” Hull said.

Andy's campaign and victory demonstrated that to beat the establishment, you need a good strategy and an energetic, hard-working candidate.

When Kevin Tracy got on board the Andy Bozak campaign, it wasn't just for show. With his help, Andy raised the most money of all 9 candidates for town council and had more individual donors than anyone else. Andy's campaign has assembled a diverse coalition that is as unique as the candidate himself!

Winners Announced for KofC Youth Soccer Challenge After joining the Knights of Columbus, Kevin and his friend Andy teamed up to be the Council Youth Directors. Their first task was putting together the Knights of Columbus Youth Soccer Challenge for their council. There was a great turnout despite conflicts with youth soccer league games and all of the kids got to go home with a new Knights of Columbus soccer ball.

Kevin Chairs 1st GOP Convention in Modern County History

Small towns in Indiana can chose whether to nominate municipal candidates in the May primary or in town party conventions. When two Republican candidates filed for Burns Harbor Clerk-Treasurer, it resulted in the first Republican convention in modern Porter County history. Nobody can remember the last Republican convention in the county and historic records did not indicate there had ever been one prior to 2015. The convention was a success and was completed in about 30 minutes.

Kevin Tracy surprised a few people when he decided to manage a municipal campaogn. His friend and Burns Harbor Town Council candidate Andy Bozak announced his candidacy and that he had a heavy hitter on board on day one.
